1. Open the Thunderbird application
2. On the main page, under the Create a new account heading, click Email
3. Enter your name, email address, and password
4. Click Continue
5. Select the mail server type
- IMAP - stores mail on the server can be used on multiple devices
- POP - downloads mail to a single device
6. Click Manual Config
7. Enter the incoming server, outgoing server, username for both incoming and outgoing
- incoming mail server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
- outgoing mail server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
- username is the entire email address
8. Click Done
